The act of giving in a way that brings joy to our hearts! We asked our children a few weeks ago about the type of volunteer work or charitable work they would like to participate in this summer and they responded with helping fight kids cancer. They wanted to do some type of fundraising and after a little research we chose to participate as a family in the Great Cycle Challenge, but we didn’t stop there. I love to bake cupcakes (hence the nickname) and they asked if we could have a cupcake stand…and thus the idea for The Cupcake K

Below is some information about the Great Cycle Challenge, please use our link to get more info.
Our Family is taking part in the 2015 Great Cycle Challenge and our goal is to pedal 100 miles cumulatively throughout the month of June to fight kids’ cancer!
Why are we doing this? Because cancer is the largest killer of children from disease in the United States – 36 children die of cancer every week. And because this is the charity that our children chose to be involved in this summer and we couldn’t be more proud!
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
It will be tough, but nothing compared to what these brave kids face every day of their lives as they battle this terrible disease.
And so, we are taking on our own personal challenge to raise $500 to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
But to achieve our goal, we need your support.
Please support our challenge and join us in the fight against kids’ cancer by making a donation through our personal fundraising page!

All funds raised will support Children’s Cancer Research Fund to continue their work to develop innovative treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
Thank you for your support.
I am excited to say we have raised $20 already today! Many Blessings!
